5 factions, 1 choice. If you could change the way you lived, where you lived, or even how you lived… would you?

In this compelling debut novel by Veronica Roth we follow the trials and tribulations of sixteen-year-old Tris as she navigates through her life in dystopian Chicago. Growing up in a black and white community by the name of Abnegation, Tris was taught selflessness was the only way to live, and to live was to give back. When she learns that she is Divergent she must do what she can and leave everything she has ever known to survive. She must learn how to navigate her new faction of Dauntless with a looming war.
